I almost never come to ar15.com because it is SO SLOW.  It hasn't gotten better.  If you need a newer/faster server, why not ask board member to contribute toward one.  
The current situation is horrible.

no problems here. check your connection. if its plugged into a phone jack...AHA...there's your problem.

I had the same problem, then I found a way (almost by accident) to load the pages about 50% faster.  I switched from Netscape (4.61) to Internet Explorer(5.5).  I still have to contend with my dial up (read s-l-o-o-o-o-w), but at least its not AS bad!  Cant wait til fall when I can get my cable modem back!![beer]
I visited a friend about a week ago who has a cable modem, and the site loaded REALLY fast.

I guess my point is it aint the site thats slow.
