I had the pleasure of getting the camp manager and the safety guy fired for safety violations, ie. letting local nationals stay overnight on the FOB without getting permission, allowing those same local nationals access to cell and satelite phones while on the FOB and stealing government property and selling it to a local national.

I watched them charge the Army $400 to fix a water heater but pay a local national $140 to fix it and the LN put used parts in the water heater and some parts were paid for but never replaced. I saw all the receipts on this one.

They also picked up hundreds of pieces of water pipe, the unit before us payed for, and sell it to a LN. i watched the truck drive off post before I knew what was going on.

I'd continue but I'll get writers cramps. I should of called CNN.

See above for those responsible.

This was on FOB Summerall last year.

Aint life grand.

Buy a surge protector and that should help eliminate your problem.

Part of the problem with the power is the crappy fuel quality that causes problems with the generators and the fact that some of the generators are Euro spec instead of for this environment.  Then there's also the fact that an ever increasing number of the KBR folks seem to be the fucktards who couldn't hold down a job in the States.
