And when did this trend start? I mean, lesbians didn't always wear mullets right? And did they start it first, or are they borrowing from the straight male white trash crowd?

Don't get me wrong, I know that there are pretty lesbians with normal haircuts (I've seen some in videos). Just curious about the mullet thing.

Maybe it has to do with softball leagues?

Must be a Missouri thing. Most of the lesbians around here prefer very short hair that is died some ungodly color like purple or really fake red.

Gosh, I guess I'm really out of it. I thought a "mullet" was a fish found mostly in Florida. Don't taste too good unless you smoke it. Makes great bait for shark fishing.

Anyways, no idea. I do know that alot of lesbians are of the "lipstick" variety and you wouldn't know them for being lesbian. The butchy ones are easy to spot.

this is a K.D. Lang thing.
I.E. if they look like a boy guys will leave them alone.

my problem is i like the outdoor-sey type and there are a lot of Lezzies that look really nice in flannel and i end up striking out a lot.

as for the hair it's a anti straight guy type of deal.
if a lez sees a mullet they think "butch alpha lez"
if a gay guy sees one he thinks "dominant type (girl) friend".
if bys see one they think "competition or alpha lez"

I'm not sure, it was a few months ago. If memory serves it was a topic regarding martial arts. He posted some pics of himself playing kendo before the crack of dawn. He was tying to develop his true ultimate power. I think he may have flipped out and deleted it along with some of the more interesting views from his rooftop. Several of us gave him grief over the mullet though. You could ask him to repost it. [:)]

Men with mullets are easy, just follow the sequence of events:

1. Boy hits teens, in rebellion starts to grow hair long.
2. Parent/s freak out.
3. Boy gets hair cut, but lets the back grow, "toeing the line".
4. Boy gets lucky for the first time.
5. Boy spends the rest of his life attempting to duplicate the conditions that led to his first experience, in constant pursuit of more kitty kitty.

Hence, the grown man w/mullet!

As far as lesbians with mullets, I think it's probably to set them apart from other women. I haven't met any straight lesbians that I know of, but I have met a few bi women that liked to make out and stuff in front of ya.
