My brother was an ET for 8 yrs. I hope yours likes going to school, because with the speed that electronics technology advances, ET's spend a LOT of time in school.

I spent a total of 13 years in the Navy, three of them on the USS Rhode Island and four years on the City of Corpus Christi.  On the "boomer" hardly any port calls as compared to the fast attack.  The Tridents have a set schedule though if he wants to take some college classes on off crew.  Looks real good for him to get his dolphins in one patrol.  Tell him good luck, fair winds and following seas.

Screw it. They carry their own with them.

Sometimes, they carry a few others which are, er....... "sleeping".

Good for your brother. Although after being on a Trident (USS Alabama SSBN 731 B) for 4 years I think I would have enjoyed a fast boat.
current active duty STS2(ss)
