He posted that he had invented the greatest thing ever for ARs and everyone would want one.  Says that's all he can say until the patent goes through.



Months later he provides the details.



It's a small bump on the dustcover that prevents it from closing unless the bolt is fully in battery.



40 pages of "OP is an idiot" followed. I know there were some mod edits, a couple locks and a ban or two.

How many servicemen have been killed in combat because their dust cover jammed their weapon?


No it was meant to tell you whether the weapon was out of battery. Supposedly not having to hit the forward assist or tilt the weapon to look could save your life.
