Harder for the refs to control the outcome of the game as per the wishes of the controlling interests with only a 5-yard penalty.

More so I don't think defensive holding should be an automatic first down

I also dont think that unequal penalties should negate each other. if one team gets a 5 yard penalty, and the other gets a 10 yard penalty, move the ball 5 yards in the appropriate direction.

I think they should execute the offending player at the 50 yard line.

They should get rid of the block in the back penalty. My non scientific study of kick returns shows an 87% BIB penalty rate.

For offensive holding the ref should pop the ball with a switchblade and make the coach of the offending team eat it.

I'm good with 10 yds....actually make it 15 yds. as long as they keep that personal foul roughing the passer nonsense....looks like I'm for DEFENSE!

I think the NFL should be penalized when games exceed 15 minutes wasted on discussing and reviewing various penalties in a game. We can start with castration and then move up to severe punishments.
