Both are a lot of fun.

Have a 98 CR250 that is a hell of a lot of fun in the desert and on a track. They just opened a track near my place and I have been itching to get into a race. They are opening to the public and are gonna have senior and veteran class races, I hear. I am not as fast as I never was.

Also ride streetbikes, a '05 FZ1. I ride it about 300 miles a week to work and recreation. Rode it last month to Az and that was a blast.

Planning a trip cross country for this summer.

So, any of you get and ride BOTH?

I used to

93 RM250
96 CBR 600

I cut my losses before I had any and quit. Bought a jet ski which is a hell lot safer. I still take a ride on friends bikes.

I ride on the street for fuel savings (1990 EX500).

My REAL sickness passion sickness (yeah, I thought about it, It's a sickness, alright) is offroad racing on my 2003 KX250.

I enjoy both, but I recently realized pushing 40 takes a little longer to heal, but its fun doing it!!

99 YZ125
01 CBR929
Extreme 107 Pitpro
Raced Motocross for awhile till I got burned out on it.  I'll trail ride occasionally now, but the streetbike gets ridden nearly every day when possible.

Supermoto bike is definately in the future for me.

I do, I do!

Don't do much street riding nowadays. Heck, I barely have time to ride in the dirt, though I did have an unusual alignment of the stars and rode eight of nine days in the past couple weeks.

Used to club race (Willow mostly) back in the day with an RD350LC and commuted in L.A. traffic day in and day out for a year and a half--never drove my truck to the office once for the commute.

Have been fortunate to try almost all of the motorcycle sports, and I like off-road best. Despite living and riding around in IL, Wizzo has some great trails available (and he's pretty darned fast!), but I'll ride nearly anywhere and have fun.

(Edit to fix spelling error)

started in the dirt...moved to the street... were there world enough and time, I'd still do both.
