Besides, as a former denizen of Boston, any team that plans play so that Ray Bourque is on the ice when the final buzzer sounds on their winning final game of the Stanley Cup will always find me in their cheering section.

So even though I'm in SoCal now, I hope the Avs [b]CRUSH[/b] the Kings. I'm just wondering WTF happened last night.

Best time of the year. Yeah it's baseball season, but that's a 162 game season. Plenty of time for that during the dog days.

Hockey playoffs are as good, if not better, than the NCAA basketball playoffs. I watch as many games as I can, and am even in the ESPN Fantasy Hockey Playoffs.

BTW, Orr would have stolen the puck from Gretsky every time, then pummeled him just for good measure.

Abso-friggin-lutely! Orr was the greatest player ever to set foot on the ice. Thinking about how he played in there, I shed a tear as I watched the old Boston Garden being torn apart.

Is it just me or is there a kind of poetry to the fact that the Bruins are playing the Canadiens in the first round of these playoffs?

You've just gotta love original six hockey. The 'Hawks made it too! If the damn Rangers would've made the postseason, we would have had a full set. (Oh, BTW, Lemieux is the greatest ever!)

One thing that ticks me off about the NHL are the stupid, frivilous warm-weather teams. They just don't seem right to me. The NHL needs to get rid of the the Hurricanes, the Lightning, the Coyotes (stupidest mascot ever), Wild, Blue Jackets, Thrashers, and all those other teams that are an insult to the league's history. Thank you, my rant is over.

You can't forget the stupidest mascot of all man! The mighty ducks! I love NHL playoff hockey, I hope the wings can take their geritol and viagra, wake up and beat the Canucks, noone was surprised here in Detroit about Vancouver, but I want to see the Wings vs the Avs in the western confrence finals. Wouldn't that be great? Oh, Roy had those rings in his ears because there isn't enough room for the rings and his head up his ass. Mike keane is a dick as well..........GO WINGS!!!!
