I like the speed of the board. I hate the colors and layout. Glad to have it with the other board down though.

It is much faster for me. And posting replies is easier. I think the font size and colors need a little tweaking, but overall its okay.

I like this site but as everyone else says, make the font a little bigger. Or at least explain how I can make it bigger on my end.

This board is a definate improvement... I like the colors and the design... but a slightly bigger font would be nice... I hate having to wear my 'old man' glasses 'cause I'm not old...

I like the old board. Just think I am more use to it. change is a hard thing to take. The more I use this board the more I find it easier to get around. I do miss the Fore Sale fourms though. It is kinda nice to see the the replys to the topic under the message box.

The comments made pretty much sum it up for me. Having said that I'll also admit that most likely all of us could get used to almost anything and that the most important factor would be to merge the boards and make the Forum complete again. The main reason I started coming to AR15 was for the variety of issues etc. that the members get wound up on. (even the Tin Foil Hat posts are entertaining.)
My vote is to make the board work, have confidence in it, get everyone together then fix the things that just don't make it. It's a great place to learn, vent and just have a good time, Thanks. |

If they dropped the port number :1111 and made it like the other message board, I would be happy. As it is now I can't access it during the day because my company has every other port except the standard web browsing port shut down.

Both boards had problems and needed some work especially in the area of browser compatibility... This one of course is FAR from being close to a finished project... which of course hasn't prevented it having all the lil cutsie crapola what dun make a rat's arse but apparently turns a bunch ah ya on... ;) What ever turns yer crank I guess... me... I get off on reality and substance... f' all the damn blitz and glitz... I sez save it fer the teenie techie geeks... ;) OCTJMO, ICBW... db PS: Anyone noted ANY revisions, additions, improvements, fixes, etc. in the past couple weeks... if so please clue me in... cuz I missed 'um... well, unless it were adding more ah them cutsie thingies... ;) |

I like to get at the other end of the room and do a vision test on the small print. Unfortunately, I use my 6-24X scope to read the type. Man, if this type was any smaller it would look like microfiche. 2 pt is a bit small...can we bump this up to a whopping 3 pts and see if that helps?

I like the new board, but using port 1111 means I do not have access from work, which sucks. Also, it's a bummer to be a junior member again after all that time. I think one reason a lot of the old gang are not hear is because of the port problem.

This new board reminds me of moving into a new house. Everything is wrong! The colors are wrong, the fonts are too small, pages load up in the middle of the posts instead of the top, too much stuff on the left of the screen. I want to go back home!
But, there's nothing I can do about it, so I'll get over it. |
