This was my second time seeing it (the first was when it came out in the theaters) and I still think it was a good movie....sad but still well made. What do you guy's think of it?
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:12:32 PM EST
It was OK.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:13:02 PM EST
Good allegory about the crossroads in your life.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:13:08 PM EST
Loved it.......even felt bad for him when Wilson drifted away.....
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:13:43 PM EST
I liked it...............Why?
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:16:07 PM EST
A two hour commercial for FedEx, but it was OK.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:16:58 PM EST
I liked it. I especially liked the idea of screwing the earrings off Helen Hunt without having to marry her.

sucked
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:30:26 PM EST
I liked it ok.

I don't think he would have survived tho. I bet not many people would survive in that situation.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:33:01 PM EST
I saw it in the theatre and thought it was okay, although I was wishing I had waited for the video. Part of that was because of the adverse reaction from those seated around me when I burst into laughter during the "Wilson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" scene.

I would have went back to that hottie red head's place and asked her what she likes for breakfast in bed.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:38:19 PM EST
You don't know if he got the red head.
THAT'S why the movie sucked.

Well, that and the crash sceen with the engine still running.

Tom Hanks is a great actor, but that film flopped

Boring, lame ending, (both) girls get away, and no follow-up film to fill in all the holes. other than that, it was OK

Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:58:46 PM EST
It was decent, that's all.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 2:59:37 PM EST
lWho likes Tom Hanks?
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:05:03 PM EST
I like it
the survival aspects on the island are the best parts of it
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:05:46 PM EST
I liked it. Nothing spectacular, but a decent flick he carried well.

It was stupid. I hated it. I wasted 2 hours watching it. Once was more than enough.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:20:23 PM EST
It was Ok I watched it once and had no real urge to see it again.................The Green Mile on the other hand!!!!
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:23:21 PM EST
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:24:20 PM EST
It was good, but its a watch one time deal.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:26:40 PM EST
In the theater, on a huge screen the movie is absolutely beautiful. You feel like you are on that damn island. If you watch it on TV it's just not as good.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:32:17 PM EST
I liked it but it was like watching a zombie movie...

"Shit, you dumbass... you're doin it all wrong! OK... there ya go... "

WILSON!
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:50:18 PM EST
What was in that package he never opened? I thought we would see that.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 3:51:16 PM EST
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 4:21:23 PM EST
Would have been better without his relationship with that soccer ball.

I liked it.

What was sad about it? He got out of marrying that dumb bitch, and had a shot at the hot welder chick at the end.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 4:28:00 PM EST
Good, but to long.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 4:35:50 PM EST
I liked it because of the nice photography but I wouldnt want to watch it again.

I thought it was an awesome movie. I also found it amazing that just a single person could carry the movie. Who else but Tom Hanks could do that?

I think TOm Hanks is the greatest actor in the world. He has flawlessly played a little kid trapped in a man's body, a retard, a war hero, an astronaut, an average joe, and a man who goes crazy being alone for a few years!

Being a music major and lover of all aspects of music except modern music, I thought it was amazing that 95% of the movie had absolutely no music.
Link Posted: 9/29/2004 4:41:55 PM EST
i liked it.

We named our cat "Wilson"

worth seeing once

Didn't understand everything about the film like why radar didn't know where the plane went down, how the plane went down and what the point of leaving on the raft was--where did he hope to wind up?

There is no "radar" out in the middle of the ocean.
