Form another thread I talked about this paper that is used to store firearms in.  Can't remember the name.  Basically the paper (almost like a wax paper) repels moisture and prevent corrosion.

Who knows what this is called?

No, it isn't oilpaper he's thinking of, but for the life of me, I can't recall the name , either. The newer vinyl bags with the chemical reaction to prevent corrosion have supplanted the bags you are thinking of.
