It's beginning to get to me, too, and for the same reason.

I have a friend that is an elementary school teacher. He is a gun enthusiast and we had a good laugh at the "lockdown" drill. He was even joking about how the announcment would say, "Lockdown! Lockdown! Everyone to the nearest classroom. Mr. XXXXX arm yourself and get to the roof."

I asked him if this was the first time they have had this "lockdown" drill, knowing full-well that it was. It was. I think it is a good idea to have a policy in effect for just such an event, but it burns me up that they are just coming up with it now. This is not the first school tragedy involving some dirtbag w/ a gun.

Reminds the sheeple that school is a prison or concentration camp.
