No offense to any other teams or their fans, but who is going to stop the Manning passing attack?  Beyond that who is going to stop Edgerrin James?

Colts win 49-24.

The Broncos are still in it!

34-3 now

The patriots, Colts game will be fantastic to watch, even better than the super bowl in my opinion.

Link Posted: 1/9/2005 10:50:29 AM EDT
ah.....halftime, i've seen enough.  time to look through some black rifles.
Link Posted: 1/9/2005 10:52:47 AM EDT
Pittsburgh will kill them, and then the Eagles will smack the shit out of Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl.
Link Posted: 1/9/2005 10:53:24 AM EDT
last year anyone?

colts were super hyped and high scoring... then the patriots totally humiliated and shut em down in the post season.

Oh and did i mention Dillon?

Not a chance in hell.  The Jets will fold like a cheap suit.

hahaha rigghtt it was ummm lets see 23-7 last time the patriots wooped the jets

The big difference between last year and this year is the Patriots' secondary. It is NOWHERE near as good as last year's unit. Not to mention the defensive line is mostly a different one as well, with Ted Washington and Bobby Hamilton phoning it in over in Oakland and Richard Seymour is hurt.

I think the Colts just might beat the Patriots next week.

The Patriots won two of the last three Super Bowls because their defense was better than the offenses they faced in the post season. That isn't the case this year.

Ty Law not playing will really hurt the Pats.  I like to point out that at least 2 of their star players are Wolverines!

True playoffs are different, but now we have serveral injured players back.

as to the loss of the line, we have Dillon now which greatly increases our offense.

Law has been gone for at least a month

The playoffs is a totally different animal than the regular season.

The Jets, while a "good" team, are now completely outmatched by any team they face from this point on.

More like almost three.

Steelers or Pats both can do the job.  I just hope St. Louis beats atlanta and gets a clean shot at Philly.  Prediction Pats beat Rams or Atlanta in superbowl, get third ring.  No i'm not a Pats fan!!!

Probably going to be an AFC team winning the Super Bowl. I don't think the Patriots will beat the Colts due to issues with their defense.

That leaves Pittsburgh or Indianapolis.
Link Posted: 1/9/2005 11:23:12 AM EDT
The Chiefs already did it this year...
Link Posted: 1/9/2005 11:24:18 AM EDT
Broncos look like a different team right now in the second half.
Link Posted: 1/9/2005 11:25:32 AM EDT
TD Broncos

35-17, this could get interesting.
Link Posted: 1/9/2005 11:28:58 AM EDT
The game is getting better.  Denver is showing signs of life.

Screw the NFL.  I'm ready for the Daytona 500!

Final score 49-24.  Go Colts!

What's this "we" shit.  You play for the Pats?

Nope of the screwing of the NFL, but I am ready for the Rolex24 at Daytona.

Oh...and obviously, Bushmasters are going to stop the Colts.

Manning is still too soft to win the big game.

Whatever happens, the AFC Championship will be the real show.  The NFC is an embarassment.  I don't know what's worse TWO 8-8 teams making the playoffs, or a 9-7 team winning their division.

A good defense can rattle Manning.  They are also a totally different team out in the weather on a natural surface.

GO STEELERS

I actually thought this thread was about rifles.

If Manning plays like he did today they will be unstoppable. The Colts defense is the problem, when you put 30 to 40 points on the board you aren't supposed to lose. Manning and the offense have it covered.

Deja Vu.    That's exactly what was said last year after the Colts throttled the Broncos and Cheifs.
Even with a broke ass secondary, Bill Belichick will pull something out of his bag of tricks.  At least I hope so

I was thinking handguns, and thought "Ruger".

if we still had carney(sp?) as our kicker we would have stopped them durring the season (a 52 yarder and the chargers would have beat them), but we'd be in the playoffs still (lost cause our kicker missed in over time).

PATRIOTS

Billicek has Mannings number.

AHHHH as a 13 year season ticket holder I have to say if feels GOOOD to beat the donks again. I got home a while ago from the Hoosier Dome and watched some of the game on tivo. Let me tell you non believers that the Colts came out in the second half ready to coast and run the clock. The donks made a run but Manning was forced to slap them around some more.
The funniest part of the week was the weak ass donk fans and players like the dirtbag lynch talking smack. All it did was piss off the offense. Had they shut thier pie holes the Colts MAY have looked past them and the dumb donks could have had a chance.
Going to NE will be tough but I think the Colts can do it, and if the weather is anything but snow and ice it will not be a factor.
I think we have a good chance but the Jets will probably get beat. Im going to root for them cause if they win and we beat the patsies its will come back to our house and I have tickets for it.  Sorry but the NFC is already palying for 3rd. First and second will be whoever is in the AFC Championsip game.
Our D is improving and Bob Sanders is a smaller Ronnie Lott in the making. He hits and fuck taking names!

Todd Pinkston and Freddie Mitchell will step it up and the Eagles will at least make it to the Super Bowl with a little luck.
