That was one of my favorite movies as a kid. The GTO was awesome, the scene in the Boneyard...awesome. The time warp scene in the high school...awesome.

Watched on VHS and cable back in the 1980s. Seemed like a rip-off of Weird Science at first but it wasn't, turned out to be a fun film.

Harlan: Caps to the dynamite, dynamite to the legs, got it?
Ellie: Caps to the dynamite, dynamite to the legs, got it.
Harlan: Latello?
Ellie: Caps to the legs, legs to the dynamite.
Harlan: Come on!
Ellie: Hey, good thing I watch TV, huh?

We used to watch it all the time as kids.

Harlan has to be 'Couger'. Too lazy to look it up.

Well, according to Stoddard's Guide to Modern Weaponry, you eject the spent clip, you pop the fresh clip into the chamber, pull back the cocking mechanism, and you're ready to rock and roll.

Saw it when I was a kid, rewatched it a couple years ago.

Better than I remembered. The idea of multiple time periods being mashed together is theoretically one of my favorite storylines. But it seems like it is awfully hard to do well. Too much temptation to abuse the rule of cool for most writers and filmmakers.

Make damn sure you get the grenade launcher as well.

T. Rex's are kinda tough.

We had the VHS when I was a kid, but it is long-since gone.  I've been hoping it would pop up on Netflix of Prime for a while.  This thread makes me think that I might have to buy it.
