Anybody?

If you snap to, you can get Chuck Hagel's signature before he takes the fall for ISIS.

I got Rummy's.  Why?  Free flair, that's why.

If you came for the Cola War certificate, I guess you'll have to ask RA when he's going to publish the order.

You never know, in the future, something may be contingent on this. (if they issue a medal, benefit, tax break, etc.)

You don't need to hang it on the wall.  But, if at some point in time in the future it is needed as documentation as prerequisite for whatever, it's worth getting.

Since you don't have a crystal ball, prudence would dictate getting one.

You spent a lot of money to get yours?  I filed online, and didn't pay a penny.   What money did YOU spend?  I lost money (Wages earned) While serving, and standing "Toe to Toe" with the Soviet threat, yet I never paid for the privilege.  If your'e not proud of standing down the "Soviet Threat", then send it back and revoke your service. You served honorably against a genuine threat and should hold your head high.

We stood Toe to Toe with the "Mighty Soviet Warrior" and they backed down.  We were , in our time, the baddest of the bad.

If you have at least one verifiable day of honorable service prior to December 26, 1991 (the date the USSR disbanded) and an honorable discharge, you can get one.

Or in your case, continued service, would be okay too, I think.
