"We made a deal. She'd stop hooking and I'd stop shooting people.....maybe we were aiming high."

Glad you posted this. For some reason, I've always liked that movie too. It's a little wierd, a little off-beat, but I guess I find it intriguing. Kinda strange when the "good guy" is really a bad guy who winds up doing good things in a bad sorta way.

Like I said, I find it intriguing.

I like the part where Lucy Liu gets smacked in the face.

Add me to the list, I can't help but watch it whenever I catch it on tv. Love the part where the two crooked cops get busted by IA. And the scene where he is shooting the luggage - James Coburn "That's just mean man."

It reaches into the depths of a mans subconsious. Revenge is a bitch.

I like it. I'm a huge Mel Gibson fan.

What's with the way bad guy #2 dies? Mel shoots him at his desk and he points up into the air like a QB throwing a football.

I like the movie, I'm just not a big fan of the hammer to toe scene. Good Idea, just not a fan of it.

Never seen it

Everyone in the movie is morally bankrupt, but by the time it ends, our "hero" seems to have a little in the bank at the end, and yes, Maria Bello is HOT!

What decade does the movie take place? Some of the stuff makes it look 90's (Kid with facial piercings), yet there are alots of 70's cars, phones with cords, style of dress that have a 60/70's look.

What the director being deliberately vague?

I love it. Nothing like everything working out in the end....
