Everything, and I mean everything, is coated with yellow pine tree pollen here every year this time.

Clogs the pool filter, makes my life a living hell as a homeowner, can't leave windows open, etc.

Just starting here, truck is parked under one but it's not yellow yet.  Will be by mid March, and windshield covered sticky ass sap really agitated well.

I live in a forest of ponderosa pines and I have never considered them evil. Just a bunch of play (disguised as work) falling, bucking, thinning, piling and burning.  I hope when I go it is playing here, with my dog keeping the ravens from plucking out my eyes..
We also have so much pollen that it creates yellow clouds of the stuff when it arrives in the spring..

Hasn't started here yet, but we have a stand of what look like lodge poles that puff thick yellow clouds when the wind hits them. Nasty.

a little bit north of us is prime pine tree country
during pollen season if it gets windy you can go out in the woods and its like a dense yellow fog

my black truck is showing yellow pollen already but its a bit early for us
weird non existent winter might have something to do with that

We get our turn around late April. The car washes and allergy specialists love it.

The house is surrounded by them.

When I first moved in, I didn't have a problem.

5 years later and I can't go outside in the Spring without a runny nose and itchy eyes.

Pine trees are the official tree of the debil.

We had 2 fourty foot tall ones in our front yard and cut them down last year. I hated those fucking things.

I got at least 3 months up here before that happens.

Still have a few months left before we get that up here.

I was at a 1k yard range in NC surrounded by forrest and you could see gusts of wind blowing the yellow clouds of pollen around down range.  Couldn't beleive it.

My old house was surrounded by them. I moved into this new house and there's a big one right by the driveway. Everything is covered. I told the misses that when we finally move to a free state and we finally buy a house if there's any god damned pine trees on the property they will be clear cut and burned.

Oh.  Thought you were going to complain about 100' pines falling over during the spring when wind gusts pick up.

Pollen's annoying.  Trees down everywhere is much worse.

I love the pollen.  It means winter is done for.  Sure its a pain in the ass but life is generally tougher in winter.  Even here in NC.

Yep. I've had at least 100 fall on my property over the last decade. I hate pine trees, especially VA spruce pine. Worthless cockroach of a tree. My next house will be in a large, flat field.

Pine and spruce pollen are much easier to deal with than fallen leaves, as long as you can keep allergies under control.

I don't recall having an engine filter clogged by pollen.

At least pollen washes off easily. Sap is a lot worse, so pines should never be planted near a parking area.
