Quoted: 5" in VM 2 This (well, use to). I really find it hard to believe that there's a better IWB holster for the 1911. Currently carrying a Colt New Agent in a Mitch Rosen ARG Express. |

Kimber Stainless in a comptac kydex owb with 2 extra mags opposite side.

Kimber Pro Raptor II. Galco Miami Classic shoulder rig (VERY comfortable), or Blackhawk CQC angle adjustable paddle holster. Clothing dictates which one is used.

I carry a Springfield Loaded 5'' most days. In a Crossbreed Super Tuck IWB Holster
Here are some pics of me in just a T-Shirt and I have never had anyone notice I was carrying. |

SS Kimber Pro Carry in a Crossbreed Supertuck on a celtic knotwork embossed, velcro-lined belt from the Beltman.
So comfy I forget it's even there. |

Sir, just to add my two cents, I have a Kimber SIS Ultra that I carry IWB in a Galco summer carry. I'm still waiting for my VM2 holster. HTH, 7zero1.

Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded model.
Carried in Milt Sparks VMII holster. Really one of the best carry rigs out there IMHO. Easy to conceal and very comfortable. In fact, it's usually my summer carry setup. |
|
Eh, you have enough pics so far.
I switch out between Kimber CDP II or SA 5" lightwieght bi-tone One of them is one me always. |
|
Workin' on making it so.
Using liberal terms; I just feel safer with a 1911. It feels more comfortable. Plus if it worked for the U.S. government for 90ish years, and it's back in service again... it's good enough for me to use to stop bad people if need be. |

Kimber Compact CDP is my everyday carry gun, in a Sparks VM2 holster on a Beltman Elephant belt. Sweet lightweight set up!

Full size 1911 here. Auto-Ordinance with federal Hydroshock FMJ

Either my Para P-14 LTD or my Springfield MilSpec in a DeSantis SOB and a loose shirt with long tails.

Colt Special Combat 5" in a Milt Sparks Versa-Max II.
The Bomar sights have torn more than one shirt. Changing them out is on my list, but other priorties keep coming up. |
|
Carried a Springfield Ultra Compact for years until I tried the Kel-Tec P11. After that I was spoiled.

Here's the Springfield: http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd193/c5driver/IMG_4747.jpg Holster, mag carrier, belt, to follow. How do you like the Dawson Rail system? Do you have any pics with the light attached? 20 |

I am currently carrying a J-Frame 357/38 but I am looking to change to a full size 1911 as soon as I get a decent holster.
My wife carries a Springfield EMP in 9MM as her CCW. |
