Obama is the most disgraceful president in the history of this country. What a piece of filth.

So they'll release that but they won't release the Bin Laden photos?
|
|
|
Not release the pictures?? WTF you think he went there for?
To respect the soldiers?? |

From the article:
It showed Obama and other officials in silhouette and did not depict caskets.

Quoted: Haven't seen the photo, but: "It showed Obama and other officials in silhouette and did not depict caskets." boo-hoo - making a mount out of a molehill. Didn't show the families, the casket, the plane, anything like that from the sound of it. ETA http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/images/news/topstories/2011/08/10/li-620-afghanistan-helicopt.jpg It is about respecting the families of the dead soldiers wishes!!!! But Obama just can't help himself when it comes to him getting some photo time |

yet they were very respectful and wouldn't release a photo of Osama after that team's members killed him?..does not compute.

I'm sorry, I can't work up any indignation over one very low key photograph that doesn't depict any of the fallen in any way. President saluting 30 (off screen) of our finest troops, with the rest of the people putting their hand over their heart? I imagine the families didn't want any coverage of the whole affair, but I can't see how this really violates the spirit of that. |

It demonstrates the total lack of respect for other that this President has continued to display. He is a real piece of work. The next photograph of President Obama I want to see is him flying away in Marine One for the last time.

It doesn't matter if the photo is respectful or not. I'm sure the families didn't want ANY photo from the event to be used by this administration or anyone else for political purposes. Yet, here we are and that is exactly what's happening.

The photo was taken in such a way that it showed the respect of the event, but didn't depict the coffins being removed from the plane. History is documented through photos. This is history. Before you say it was politically charged, the photographer was the official photographer for Ronald Reagan too. He's widely respected throughout the profession. |
