Go kick a honey badger or wolverine in the mouth and find out.

I would take my chances with the skunk

Sorry, but I always have weapons......

Either is fine.

I don't think they would survive a Gold Dot to the noggin.

That was what I was thinking.

I would prefer the badger.....since it would look better mounted in my office.

ETA, I missed the no weapons part, I guess I would use the same tactic you would use against the water mocassins..........

That was pretty funny.

Whichever one is slower - so I can outrun it, screaming like a Japanese Schoolgirl (TM) the entire time!

I would smoke that skunk

Badger. The skunk has ranged weaponry and I'm sure I can run faster than those mean little bastards.

Badger.
No chemical warfare. I have encountered skunks up close and personal. I would try a badger this time if I had to.

damn badgers will shoot all your ammo and drink all your beer.

i would have to vote "badger"

while a badger is one tough SOB. my size advantage and stomping/kicking ability would prevail. a skunk has built in MACE that will disable any opponent.

you ask for it...

here it is...

I defend my wife's tomato garden from skunks regularly-they aren't anything special. One round of M193 wrecks their day. If you hit them at the base of the tail they'll sometimes flip like a tiddlywink as they come apart. One of these days I'll have to film it. Watching them do triple gainers reminds me of the olympics-just without the pool.

A badger on the other hand is a tough, mean little fucker.

the other day i was watching a special on the discovery chanel about badgers in alaska. i learned 2 things.

1 you can't out run a badger they can cover around 40 miles a day even in the snow.
2 they are not as ferocious as they seem. they are more show than go.

we don't have no stinking badgers around here. I hate skunks, they spray my dog about twice a year, what a pain.

They don't see to like #4's out of a 12ga. too much though.

Skunk.

I have a tomato garden.

skunk!

I was watching a show on National Geographic or Animal Planet and they showed a badger tangling with a poisonous snake. The badger was kicking the snakes ass but he got bit in the process.
The snake died and the badger started eating the snake, the badger started to convulse from the poison but did not die.
Instead it only passed out for a few minutes. When it woke up it looked like a guy waking up from a drunken stupor, it proceeded to eat the rest of the snake. How tough and mean is that!
