This didn't get any responses at GFD so I'll post it here.

I am planning on getting a rifle chambered in one of the new WSM cartridges. It looks like it will be either the 270 WSM or 300 WSM. Now I need to pick the rifle. I really like the looks of the Winchester. I don't like the blued finish. I'd rather have something in a matte finish. The plus to the blued finfish is that Bass Pro has Leupold VariX II 3-9x40 gloss for $179. It would match the rifle nicely.

But, if I could find a laminated thumbhole stock I would get the Brownong A-Bolt. Boyds doesn't have anything for Browning.

Do any of you know of another source for thumbhole stocks other than Boyd's?

hmmm thumbhole stocks, Norinco makes em..heheh

I'm so used to pistol grips that the angle of the grip on a t-hole stock feels alot better to me.
