When you cut through all the BS which guns do you grab the most for whatever reason?

12 Guage Browning Gold Sporting - shooting at moving targets (Clays) beats stationary anytime in my book.
Well, not to be a wimp, but I have the most fun with my modified 10/22. Placing them dead center at 25 yrds is a lot of fun.
I have an AK variant, and the recoil makes it much less fun to shoot. (Like I said, I may be a wimp) However, I did shoot a guys Bushmaster AR at the range the other day, and that was pretty fun! |
Easy,
My AK(Mak90) in .223 My Winchester 94 in 30-30 and my AR. The AK is just better balanced but when I want accuratcy its always the AR. sgtar15 |
1st and most; Colt AR15M4 variant. I practice with that rifle more than any other gun I have.
2nd; Any of my other Ar15s 3rd;Springfield SS1911-A1 custom. 4th;Any of my Glocks 5th;Ruger MKII Government slab side The list goes on... |
1- Pre-Ban Colt M4gerie
2- Springfield Armory SAR-48 (FAL variant) 3- Remington 700 .308 Police 20" flutted barrel 4- Wilson Combat TPR |
Believe it or not my friends Weatherby 30-378.
It has a compensator on it and when it goes off it makes this resounding Boooooom! It rattles your bones when you stand next to it. |
LilRhody,
Yeah, not to mention shattering windows about 1/2 mile down range!!! Gotta be the 10/22 or the MarkII with the kids. |
definetely my sporting clays O/U and hunting semi auto get the most use. AR's have been second lately (trying to find the perfect AR15 deer rifle). Favorite pistol I always take to the range is a Sig .45.
You had to ask the question, now I have to think of justifications for all the rest [whacko] |
The ones I shoot most often are my Knight's M4, and my HK P7...
But, they're all my favorites, or I wouldn't have 'em! |
I love my Oly AR15, my GF wont stop drooling over the 7mm Rem Mag one of the range regulars has. Good thing he only brings about 50 rounds for the whole day and shoots about one every five minutes, or I might have to worry. [B)]

I have two favorites: My XP-100 in 7BR, and my custom AR-15. Both make little groups a long way off. Third on my list is my Kimber Classic, but it needs some 3-dot sights and an arched mainspring housing. Still, it hits right at point-of-aim at 25 yards with hardball.
My Belgian FN FAL. Just fun to shoot.
And my Kimber Gold Match. |
without a doubt my cmp m1 garands.....hi I'm slash and I'm an garandaholic!.......these things are too addictive!I break out in a cold sweat when I hear an enbloc ejected!

Putting 10 rounds through a little hole at 25 yards is a blast (albeit a small one). Another thing to consider is that you can shoot up 500 rounds for as little as $10. This is a great way to build skills and disciplines that carry over into your big guns. My next favorite would have to be my SAR-2. SeanTX |

As far as rifles, 1-m15a2....2-garand....3-700 classic/300winmag.......[smoke]

I shoot these guns the most:
1) Ruger 10/22 2) Ruger competition slabside .22 3) Remington 11/87 ( My bird gun) 4) AR-15 ( Bushmaster 20") 5) 1861 Springfield musket (.58 cal) The last is what I use for dramatic effect. A 500gr Minie ball pushed by 70grs. of ffg makes a lasting impact! It never fails to impress people at the range. [smoke] |
I would have to agree with FNGuy. When I bring my FN to the range, everyone stops to look and I am bombarded with questions. And when I fire it down range, everyone is in awe.

in this order

I can actually hit something with this....

It would have to be my Colt 6724. This rifle has set into motion all the other ARs I got. Just a amazing shooter that I will not part with.
1. Bushmaster Dissipator/AR-15 in .223.
2. Beretta 1201FPG3 12-ga. (but not too much at one time!) 3. Remington 700 BDL 7mm Rem.Mag. 4. Remington 597 .22LR. 5. Ruger Govt. model .22LR. 6. Beretta 96's. in .40. 7. Swedish Mauser and Swedish Ljungman AG-42B in 6.5x55 Swedish. 8. Ruger GKGP-161 in .357. Not necessarily in that order. |
The list is tooooo long to post. So, to keep the post short and simple, I decided to list the item that is my least favorite to shoot.
None. [:P] |
SeanTX, you got that right! The cost of ammo is a BIG plus when it comes to shooting my 10/22.
The one I handle the most is my Gov. Model Mark IV Series 70 Colt 45. My favorite shooter is my Colt AR15 w/ Bec Delta Scope.
Semper Fidelis Smalls |

1) Savage 12BVSS in .223. It has been customized by Fred Moreo of SharpShooters Supply and shoots very, very well. 1/2 MOA with handloads. Highest Recommendation for Fred and Brent's work.
2) Anschutz 64MP. An absolute masterpiece. I am amazed at how well this rifle shoots and fits me. It is the sweetest 2 stage trigger that I have ever felt. For less than $700 this rifle is a bargain. With the right ammo this rifle will shoot 1/4 MOA. 3) Colt 6530. Great walking rifle for groundhogs. Shoots well with American Eagle 50gr HP. 4) Glock 20. Great round in a great pistol. |
My favorite is whatever is in my hands at the moment. Anytime, and anywhere. [uzi]

My M4A2 M16 rifle. Tons of fun & makes a lot of noise...not to mention spits a lot of lead [:)]
I love shooting my 12ga. Browning BPS Although; nothing gives me that gitty grin like hitting some distant reactive target with my 7mm mag.

rifle- Bushmaster Ar-15 shorty or M-i Tanker in 7.62
pistol- Colt 1911 full or compact revolver- Colt .357 |
The AK is always my most enjoyable, hands down. Cheap to feed too. Lots of folks talk about 'em and I too have a 10/22, but I just don't seem to get into it too much.
Anything in 7.62 NATO is a blast. |
Shoot the most: 10/22 - more ammo more often for less money rules! Lately I also seem to be shooting a lot of trap with a nondescript Mossberg 500A & having plenty of fun in the process.
Have the biggest grin after shooting: WWII era Springfield M1 Garand, antique 50-70 rem rolling block. I ran this post past a buddy & his selections were: 10/22T with spiral hammer forged barrel & Winchester 1300. |
Bushmaster Shorty AK
It is not my favorite, but I like to shoot it the most. |
bf's ak for pure pleasure.
bushy 20" for accuracy taurus 85 ultralite in .38sp because in the darkened indoor range the 2" barrel belches a hella huge muzzle flash. |
I'm actually suprised to see that more people here haven't chosen their AR15.
I've also noticed that alot of people choose their .22 because of cost. Personally, my AR is the funnest to shoot, with my FAL a close second. And to be honest, I absolutely fucking love shooting my AR with the .22 cal conversion kit. Best of both worlds if you ask me. |
Most fun= Colt AR depending on how many people I have to supply ammo for. I swear I keep cheaper than dirt in business. I shoot my modified my ruger 10/22 With all volquartsen innards and barrel the most. This baby will put them in the same hole evertime even with cheap federal ammo.

Hmmmmmmmmm, let's see........

M1 Garand and until about a year ago my custom 10/22, now a Rem. 513T with the Redfield target front and rear sights. I love the precision open sights.
