I am constantly buying/selling/trading guns, but every now and again I do have regrets on some I have gotten rid of.  Here are just a few...

1. Blued 6.5" S&W K-frame 19.  This was a great shooting .357, and was extremely accurate with .38 target loads.  It had the target trigger/hammer, and was as smooth as glass.  Why I got rid of it, I will never know (but I'm sure the $200 profit had something to do with it)

2.  Browning A-Bolt Hunter .243.  Bought this for a GF to hunt with, but we broke up and I sold the gun (to my next GF's dad).

3.  4 5/8" Super BlackHawk .44, possibly the perfect woods carry gun.  Handful with 300gr loads, but still fun to shoot.

4.  Norinco MAK90 AK.  One of the cleanest AK's I have ever seen, and I had perfectly matched dark blonde wood.  I am still kicking myself in the arse over that one!

I'm not a the collector type, more of a trader.  So when I need a new gun, I usually sell one I don't use very often.

That being said, the only one I REALLY miss was my P7M10.  But to be fair, I got almost double what I paid for it.

An IPSC "Modified" gun built on an STI frame in 10mm with HybriComp barrel. Best practical pistol I ever shot. The British Govt confiscated and destroyed it in 1997 ... let this be a warning to you all !

I traded a few guns off for others, but the one I really miss is my M1 Garand.

That being said I traded it for a down payment on a FMPG3S (Portugese HK91). I had problems with it so this year I traded the FMPG3S for a real deal HK91A3.

That being said I love my HK91 but terriblt miss my Garand

Especially when I watch a WW2 movie or play MOHF on PS2.

I don't so much regret selling/trading any particular gun, but more the fact that I had to part with one to get another. I just don't like the idea of my "collection" not growing.

So it's more the idea of the gun that I no longer have than the gun itself.

I've parted with a SAR-8 and I'm considering ditching the first gun I ever bought; Ruger P89 (9mm). I'm looking to more or less break even to get something different, probably a revolver.

Benelli M1 Super 90 with pistol grip stock and slug barrel.  Sold it about 12 years ago to buy a Colt Delta H-BAR back when that was THE AR to have.  Ended up getting rid of the Colt, too goddamn muzzle heavy.  Still don't have a shotgun, want to get something as nice as the one I stupidly let go.  I should just bite the bullet and get an 870 Express.
