I remember a few days back there was a thread about loans, but I don't think it was va specific
I was thinking of giving navy fed a call and seeing what they can do, but figured I'd ask here if anyone has a loan company they're satisfied with that was easy to work with.

I have tons of credit products with navy right now, just don't know how they are with mortgatges.. I know usaa is a royal pain in the ass when it comes to home loans, so I'll probably not go that route.. thoughts?

My VA loan was a local bank. I got a lower rate locally. I was able to,get 3.35 last year with a VA product. Any mortgage will want seasoned cash, two years tax returns and a few months pay stubs. Also will want 6-12 months of bank statements, may want 401/403B statements, etc. Not hard or difficult just a mountain of papers. I would get a rate lock as close to 3-3.5 if a 30Y and 2.35-2.75 if 15Y. We have mortgage guys that are team members.
