There are some great financing deals on new cars right now and I am tempted to get rid of my ancient car and get a new one. I want to get something larger and use the 0 percent financing for 5 years deal that a few models have. Here are my choices: 1. 2001 Buick Lesabre 2. 2001 Ford Crown Victoria 3. 2001 Ford Windstar I would go for the lowest end of each model, just need to make sure I get ABS brakes. Any ideas on what I will like best? GunLvr

Do some research online. Use either KBB or Edmunds I believe they are www.kbb.com www.edmunds.com

I say get a white Crown Vic. When traveling on the highway people all around you will slow down and move out of your way.

Crown Vic. Rear wheel drive. Plus like mentioned before, others on the road may think you are a cop & move over. I love Crown Vics.

I sold cars at a Toyota dealership and Ford dealership and I own a Buick Skylark, go with the Crown Vic! Smooth driving, rear wheel drive, power steering that moderates depending on your speed, V8 engine, climate comtrol, power seats, full seats front and back, enough room in the trunk for all your gear and a dead body or 2 (average human size of course) and you can get a tow package that has a tow slot in the back that will give you the same towing capacity as the V6 Ranger pickup. You can have the cool smooth ride, and be able to load it up and tow a tent trailer for family outings. The tan or grey leather is the best. Won't absorb spills and it lasts longer than the cloth. That has to be the biggest thing I miss about the dealership, driving a different car everyday to go get lunch. My goodness I love that car! Plus you can put a rack on the inside of your trunk lid to hold your AR. Pop the trunk as you open the door, grab from rack and go. [peep] [sniper]

I know its not on the list but, check out the new Jeep Grand Cherokee before you make up your mind.I know most people never use the 4x4 feature but in light of current events, being highly mobile could be a good advantage.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I will check out the Crown Vic first. Now I am worried about finding one in my area for a good price. Might be forced back to the used market. GunLvr
