Now there are a few places that I have picked out so far if the SHTF this is mostly to make sure my wife and son are safe then it's back to the front line for me.
If the attack came from North I think I'd go down to Mississippi. If the attack came from the South I'd take them to my parents in upper IL then they would go to Michigan from there. If it came from East or West I'd just stay where I was. Where would you go? Next if there was a war here would you join the military or go rebel? edited do to my sucky spelling |

Well, I can't imagine the US being invaded by a Muslim army. Sporadic terrorist attacks are more likely. And if/when that happens, I plan on standing my ground. The bastards aren't going to force me from my home. Besides, the neighborhood where I live probably has more weapons per person than any ten of the towel-heads could hope to produce, so I'm sure me and the boys could send a few of the smelly sonsabitches to Allah before they got us.

First stop gun safe.
2nd stop front lines wherever they are in the US so I could start shooting dirtbags. [sniper] - CD |

MAss invasion is unlikely, unless it's by canada, but then I can distract them with beer.
So my best bet is to stay in my house. Brick exterior to protect against drivebys. Deadend street. less than 2 miles from a large medical complex. Let other people run around in a panic. just don't panic in my direction |
|
I would leave work and head right out to Krogers and buy bread and milk and fill up the car due to worries about gas going up.[:)]
hey, it's what everyone does around here when it snows or we get hit by dirtbags with our own planes. |
|
Better start loading up my mags...
If something does happen you gotta be ready to grab and go. You might not have time to load. |
|
I have a few nice spots picked out up in the sierra nv.lots of wild life and fresh water.

I don't think the day will EVER come, when we will need to fight off an invasion...
There's a MUCH better chance that you'll have to fight off looting urban chimpanzees during a riot... |

Quoted: ... less than 2 miles from a large medical complex. View Quote I'm not sure that would be a good thing. If SHTF then all the wounded would be heading your way. I live about a mile from a Level 2 Trauma Center. I couldn't imagine the amount of people in the area, all wounded, panicked, and scared. I figure I'd get the heck outta Dodge, because I don't really want to be that close to that many people. |

View Quote Hmmm, ask your self this. Would you ever think that the WTC would be leveled to the ground 2 weeks ago? You and I would both say "No fu#king way". Although it is highly unlikely an invasion is possible. Who knows what other countries are involved. I hate to sound paranoid but I like to have options and I like to be prepared for class. The second scenario you describe is more likely to happen. A shotgun is a great tool for that. |

First I'd go get a gun. Then I'd go to 7-eleven and steal all their beer.....

Bio-chem release, or even the fear of one, would cause panic in the big cities. A lack of food, water, power or even gas could cause civil unrest. An invasion of "international peacekeeping forces" after an event like this would be the only invasion I would expect to see on our soil.
If a trial, hurricane and isolated terrorist attack can cause the pillaging, looting and burning we've all seen in the last 10 years, imagine if something widespread and/or significant occurs (not to detract from any of these events, but they're still relatively small scale). Survival in these situations would best be served by being away from population centers and having a core of prepared friends/family. "Patriots: Surviving the Coming Collapse" would be a good read for those of you that have not read it before. Black Fox |

All I have to say is that I don't think Canada is likely to strike us but Mexico could they have enough of there people up here to start something.
What if the Mexicans are for the Muslims just think how easy it would be for an army of Arab,Mexican,Cubans and how ever else hates us just to come in from Mexico. Not like there government would stop them hell there military shoots at are border patrol. Anyway I think the invasion maybe the U.N. still there going to have a good chance and reason to sent troops in to the U.S. and stupid people will welcome them with open arms. |

I would try to find shaggy! If I am in NYC, the 66th street armory for some M16's because you can't have Assault weapons in NYC. In PA, I would just gather a group of well armed locals and organize from there. It is not very likely that this would happen, but I am arming myself and my family in the event of sporatic uprisings.

I'll be at The Gun Show all day 9/22, so I'll have at my disposal my guns, plus a source of extra ammo., magazines, and guns. If SHTF, I'll buy up a shitload of ammo., clips, and guns.
But, If they attack from the Southeast, I'll head for Ft. Lauderdale to get my family and pull back to Georgia, followed by the Mountains of North Carolina. They'll have to fight me on my turf. Let's see how well they are when I know the mountains better than they do. ANybody notice that in the new Movie Megiddo, they have a still with a Mexican Flag over troops being attacked by what look like U.S. Helicopters. The movie comes out tommorow and is about WWIII. |

You won't be going anywhere. Try the road? There will be 100 million people in there SUV's on the road, all in your way. What your range on a bicycle?

View Quote I live in central IL there's a lot of corn field's around here and I got my 4x4 truck so not worried. If they all leave that then I'll just stay here or maybe not because thats all that is around me corn field's. Anyway I think that a lot of people will head north not south. A lot of people think that the south is just for dumb hicks that don't know a thing. I don't think that the south would be best a lot of hunting land and fishing. I know a few people in Mississippi anyway that would take care of my son and wife. Me I'm going to be front and center of all the action. |

I would go to steyraug's house because he has all kinds of guns, but if nsfjojo has all of those womenz at his house I would go there instead.

I would go to the Falkland Islands. There's nothing of any importance down there, after all. Just a bunch of penguins that fall over every time an airplane passes overhead.

steyrAUG's house - since he has more guns & porn than I do. I will bring at least 3 chics and lotsa beer.

I would go to the Playboy mansion..."Ladies, I'm here to help!"

I would offer to drive Garyowen to the Playboy mansion in my 4x4.

I live in GEORGIA. In the South, per capita... more guns and rednecks than you can imagine.
If the Southeast were ever invaded, every redneck from SC, TN, AL, GA, MS, NC would show up before the Marines ever arrived... when the military does finally show up, all they'd find is bunch of empty shotgun shells and beer cans... now that's my kind of Army. So to answer your question, I'd get the wife outta Dodge, then join the militia... M. |

Maine. Where me and my band of merry, heavily armed, men will live, keeping the mountains free of rag-heads and the terrorests attacks on trees. We will let the military handle the situation untill or unless they need help.

I recon I'd go to the sound of the guns. If it started here in my neighborhood, well, it'd sorta be defending home now wouldn't it?
|
|
Well, it really isn't that kind of war so I can't really picture Bin Laden's cronies marching down the street.
However, as a 'civy' defending the homeland, I can honestly say that if the local Hooters were under siege I would be among the first to rush to the defense of it's dedicated staff. "Cover Me! I'm goin' in!" |
|
I'd offer my services as an armed escort to the 4X4 satcon drives Garryowen to the Playboy mansion in...
Ah hell, this can go on forever. Just sneak me in the trunk, and I'll pay ya. [:D] |

I would stay home watch all of this horror unfolding on CNN. I can't imagine being on the road in this scenario, since going to work is such a pain here in South. Calif., when there is only 30-40% of the population going to work. Can you imagine if there were say 75-85% of the population on the road. Now that is grid lock, going nowhere fast. It may take me 2 days to get out of town. Now if there was a general evacuation because of a chemical spill, fire etc, that would be different. I would pack up the family, and throw in my survival gear into my van and leave.

Warlord,
What are you worried about? The Cryps, Bloods, Cuz, ABT's, and the XIV would wipe out anything that crossed their turf. By the time the invading forces made it inland there wouldn't be anything left. We have all seen on TV what they can do with a brick and a fire extinguisher, imagine if they all showed up with Bryco's or Jennings .25 ACP's. The invading forces would march into South Central L.A. and never be seen again. |

Two years ago, I would have grabbed the kids and extra ammo and gone to the Mts. Well the kids have moved out and the dog is old, think I will just stay home, load the wifes AR and my FAL, and RULE the naiborhood:)

They were shipped by PolyTech and linked to a Chinese Army colonel. I never heard about any RPG's and I was living in the area at the time and had a couple of friends that worked the case. |

Supply my wife with a 10/22, grab an AR15 with plenty of spare mags and ammo, survival gear, and head to the woods.
Then try to assemble a "Home Defense" team. |
