If you can guess the exact location, I think the gov
would pay you a hefty salary to work as an imagery
analyst.

What do you consider a city? While I don't know exactly where that picture was taken, it could be in any one of several Minnesota cities. It almost looks like a small lake in Bloomington, except there should be a small island in the picture. I worked on the 11th floor of a building across the road from the lake, and watched as eagles swooped in for fish.

Kind of looks like that lake where Maj. Winters would go swimming in Austria in Band of Brothers.

That's not a hint, that's like saying "It's somewhere west of the Mississippi"

Since 94 pretty much splits the state in half, that does not help.

Seriously, have you even seen a map of MN? 2 small and somewhat nondescript photos of a lake, and you want someone to ID its location?

Go to maps.google.com and zoom in on MN. You'll no doubt notice where 94 goes through the state, and also note the thousands of 4-500 acre sized lakes dotted throughout the land.

It'd be like taking a photo of a stoplight and then asking what street/corner it's on, saying all you know is that it is in Manhattan, and it's north of SoHo. Nothing in the background but air..just a full blown shot of a stoplight.
