Didn't they support it last time around?

I know most cops are pro-2nd, but all people see is that name on a press release. Just seeing if any of the cops in those organizations have heard anything yet.

Test isn't for 11 hours. Plenty of time. I'm up to Solzehnitsyn in my review.

It is actually the human resource division of the departments. Those sniveling little shits want to be politically correct and not subject to lawsuits by the different organizations.

Cops are more likely to support gun rights than any other group.

Their representation is probably more anti-gun than any other.

That's sounds about right Torf.

The lawmakers and media types don't ask us actual cops how they feel.  They talk to PR and other media types who CLAIM to be the respresentative voice of LE.  Dang.

The LEAA is TOTALLY OPPOSED to any new assault weapons ban.

The FOP told me they support the CURRENT LAW.

You'll get your answer if you think of them as 'police unions' instead of 'police organizations'.

Every time the anti's spew numbers saying cops support the AWB, that really means the unions.
The unions are like every other union, a  liberal bootlicking lap dog for the socialist democRATS.
The rank and file LEO's are more likely to oppose it, but unfortunately, the pollsters don't ever ask them. They just go to the unions and get the party line. I'm also sure it's frowned upon (or worse) if LEO's come out and publicly go against the unions positions.
