Spend the extra $200 and get a DSA! The difference in quality is just so obvious. Walk around a gun show sampling all the parts guns & kit builds, then pick up a DSA. There is no comparison, unless you are talking about an FN 50.0 , and they are scarce and $2000 or more. I love my DSA carbine - no issues whatsoever.

DSA is good but you can have a good FAL gunsmith build a better/nicer/custom rifle cheaper. |

Are you talking about a new one, or a used one. I would recommend the Springfield Armory SAR48, it was built on the Brazilian Imbel receiver. All FN FAL will fit.
