Kinda funny, most everyone I know would have me pegged at the far right! [:P] Edit: Pic didn't show up, so I'll just tell you that I'm dead center about 5 bars up towards authoritative. |
right libertarian
5 squares right three squares down from (0,0) |
Here's mine......
Economic Left/Right: 0.62 Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.56 1 up and 1 right. |
This is a mite scary... I've taken many of these, but this is the first time I've come in so close to center:
Economic: 0.00 Authoritarian/Libertarian: 1.03 |
Mine...
Economic Left/Right: -2.25 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.59 |

Right here:\

I'm right between GW & Ariel Sharon...
Anyone else notice no one famous listed on the libertarian right? I guess the shocker to me is that 75% of you guys are with the Lie-beral Demonrats...How does it feel... |
Economic Left/Right: 2.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.88 My chart looks just like Kbaker's Edited to add: I think the test and its interpretations by the testers is utter bullshit. Too many questions forced me to choose an answer I didn't agree with by omitting the correct answer as a choice. |

Quoted: I guess the shocker to me is that 75% of you guys are with the Lie-beral Demonrats...How does it feel... View Quote It is no shock to me at all as I have been observing the increasing trend to neo-conservativism over the past decade. Economic Left/Right: 3.00 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.82 |
Next to Tony Blair
Economic Left/Right: 3.38 Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.87 |
I agree with gus, the test did not provide adequate choices. Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that there is a big difference between a liberal and a libertarian?

You really need to can that 'neo-con' bullshit that you apply to anyone who disagrees with you, which is just about everyone. |

Economic Left/Right: -2.75

Right next to Milton Friedman. To be truly accurate of modern political thought they would have to have an "I don't care" option. BTW, some of the questions were pretty specious, such as the first one: If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations. I feel the interests of the corporation are a reflection of the interests of society. |
Economic Left/Right: 2.75
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 2.51 I'm in between Jacques Chirac and Tony Blair. I wonder how accurate that test is? I agree that some of the questions were leading in their wording, with no proper answer for my beliefs.
cool, One click up and one click left and I would have had a bull.
The questions seem a bit 'loaded' to me, or perhaps not precise enough. Perhaps I'm too fussy, sigh :(
Gwen in L.A. Will take the test again and compare scores. |
Economic Left/Right: 7.62
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -0.51 I think the test is accurate. But it is kinda lonely down on my part of the graph. |
Economic Left/Right: 4.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.51 |
I'm at two up, one right.
Economic Left/Right: 1.12 Authoritarian/Libertarian: 1.95 |
Economic left/right: -0.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.05 I'm one square to the left, that's it. There should be neutral options (as I know I'm not educated well enough on a few topics or I am just neutral) and some gun-control questions. [:)] [sniper] |
Economic Left/Right: -3.75
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 2.05 lol..I'm up there with Moa Tse Dung and Vladimer Lenin..Commie bastard is what I am.. What a load of crap...Guess I need to burn my membership card to the Constitution Party huh? I took it again and it put me even farther left. I guess I will just leave here and go join the DU... Vote for Hillary!!!! [lol] |
Economic Left/Right: 6.75
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 4.36 Hey! I'm right next to GW! Right/Authoritarian This is a very left biased questionaire, not to mention British. The questions are all loaded and there is no room for a "middle-of-the-road" answer. Its bullshit. |
Mine sucks, I am on the same spot as Nelson Mandela... WTF is that...
Can't vote this pole... nothing covers me.
Damned sure not a liberal democratic socialist commie. Not a nutcase Libertarian. Damned Republicans are too eager to compromise my rights away to the Democommies. I must an anarchist. No government is better than any government. |
Its not really to be taken too seriously guys. I think it has as much credibility as a "Redbook" or "Teen Magazine" test to see how faithful the girl's BF's are.
I put it up for fun, my guess is that the creators answered the questions about certain political figures and applied them to our answers. Don't post how much of a bunch of BS it is, just take it or click the next thread! |
To the right and authoritarian.
.....but not by much (authoritarian). |
Economic Left/Right: 0.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.13 Seems about right, if I understand the grid correctly. Still, many of those questions left something to be desired. Oh, and WTF was that "Our race has many fine qualities" question? |
The questions were not really accurate questions. For example, some things I personally disagree with I would NOT legislate.
Know what I mean? Scott |
Economic Left/Right: 3.00
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -0.56 More Libertarian than I thought... Edited to say... no way today's liberal democrats are on the right-side economically. That is a bunch of crapola. They may be more Libertarian, but no way on the right economically. |
Gee, I'm one click right of dead center.
I also didn't like their choice of answers many times. |
Here's mine. Seems pretty centrist overall:
Economic Left/Right: -0.50 Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.77 |
Almost dead center (L/R .5 and A/L .87).
I don't put much stock in this particular poll. Too few questions and too few answers for a meaningful test. If I want my money back out of Social Security, does that make me a Socialist? I don't think so. Libertarian has little or nothing to do with the party of that name, but only on how much control the government can exercise over your life (i.e. big government = "good or bad"). It doesn't take much to figure out that being on the right on one issue (political, social or economic) doesn't mean you will always be to the "right" on every issue that comes up. |
