I just used a dremel with a cut-off wheel to cut the weld and unscrewed the muzzle nut off of mine.

Came off easily.

WOuldn't it be pinned too?  That is what I am afraid of.

if it's welded in wont be pinned. does yours have the pin at the top to catch the brake in position?
