A FN Hi Power was next on the list, but it got trumped by an 1898 Krag today. My list is long enough to keep me poor for the next 3 years, though I suspect it will keep growing until I come to my senses. Unfortunately my wife encourages my habit..

Only ones I can think of right now (shudder at the thought, cause theres gotta be more!)

Tikka T3 Tactical .308
Springfield XD .45ACP in BiTone
MG-42 (even if I have to settle for the semi repro)

Oh yeah, and for whatever reason, I've found myself looking at 1858 Remington New Army black powder pistols. Cheap enough that I think I can fix that itch in a month or so.

Link Posted: 1/25/2006 9:24:03 PM EST
nothing but class 3 from now on
Link Posted: 1/25/2006 9:26:19 PM EST
I'm not even gonna take the time to read everyone's list, because my list will suddenly be larger than it was before I opened this. So, I'm just here to say hi!

Link Posted: 1/25/2006 9:27:06 PM EST
I always tell myself that there are "just a few more guns" to buy. Just those few...then I can lay off for a while and save money for stuff that's actually important.

It never works. Every time I complete that "last" list, there is another (just ONE LAST "another"....) list just as big/usually bigger to take it's place.

Right now, the "necessary guns to buy" list is:

Another CMP Garand
A CMP Springfield '03
Winchester 94
Mossberg 590
Chinese SKS
Heavily modified ruger 10/22 (still have never owned a .22...)

Steyer AUG (*if* we are all fortunate enough)
Tricked-out Glock 19
S&W model 36 or Cold Detective Special

I will never have any amount of money on hand. I will always be poor....but surrouned by firearms.

Not to hijack but those CMP 1903s are nice:

Had a friend recently pick up one of the 03's from CMP - thing came soaked in cosmoline. Cleaned her up and found some interesting 'tick' marks in the stock and 'X's neatly etched in the top of the upper handguard (like someone was keeping track). Along with the name "Ruby" or "Rudy" etched in the stock beneath the bolt handle. Nice piece of history there no doubt.

Thanks for the comment....I was kinda worried that they would all be in junk condition. But now, I will probably put it on the top of my list (I'm sure they're disappearing fast).

Link Posted: 1/26/2006 11:24:44 AM EST
Benelli M1S90

And then i want to get at least one of every firearm ever made!
Link Posted: 1/26/2006 11:29:40 AM EST
A couple more AR receivers
A couple of AK receivers
A couple more FAL receivers
and I'm saving up for a phased plasma rifle, in the 40 watt range.

A few Glocks
Link Posted: 1/26/2006 11:55:51 AM EST
All of 'em.

More realistically (I stand a good chance of buying one or two of these this year):
AR-15, either a 20" A2 or a 16" M4gery
FN/Browning Hi-Power
Sig P229 (preferably with the older slide) in .40, along with the barrels for 9mm and .357SIG

I'd love to be able to get most, or even the AR and SIG. But since my plans in the next few months include going to Mexico and Hawaii, my gun budget is going to get shot, so to speak.
