Up until a couple of days ago, I never had to double click a link. Now I have to double or tripple click. If I type in a search term anywhere, I have to hit enter twice. No other strange things happening. Do I got a trojan or something?

Tools>Folder Options.  Your click, double click settings are here.

Try a System Restore and roll back to before the error started.

I doubt it's a Trojan or Virus.  Download and install Malwarebytes and run a scan just for drill.

Zeke, gave good advice. Programs like ccleaner run every day or so does about the same as programs like malwarebytes and superantispyware. PLus you have the option to keep what you want and other stuff. Get a good av though if you don't have one. I like esets security suite myself.

Maybe your uncle has been looking at porn? Still putting up with him?

CCleaner is nothing like malwarebytes.  CCleaner is a registry cleaner, not an antivirus.  Not a bad idea to run it once a month or so - daily is overkill.

The other thing that's good to do monthly is run the windows integral disk checker, then defragment the hard disks.  But it won't help the double click problem...

Malwarebytes isn't a antivirus either. Go to 50 sites and scan with your anti malware scanner then go to the same 50 sites and run ccleaner or manually clean then run your scanner. See what the outcome is and report back.

It's more than a registry cleaner. If you are not adding alot of programs i don't see a need to defrag either. chkdsk has saved me a couple times but also know for thrashing.

I just had to double click the "Quote" tab to reply here. I have AVG free, and it found nothing. Couldn't find anything under Tools that changes the clicks. Computer is locked in my room, so no one else uses it, and yes, he is still here.
