One of mine HAD to be when I was at my Bro's house. Was at the pond talking to his kids and telling them about how the Indians used to catch fish by putting their hand under the water, cupping it and wiggling the fingers slightly to attract them. I was demonstrating it on the dock and I'll be darned if a 10" fish didn't swim thru it and I caught it. I was DA MAN that day! When I left, all 5 boys still had their hands in the water trying to duplicate it. This was in late october in MI in a Artesian well fed pond, the water was COLD! I never did tell them it was blind luck. I remain to this day the coolest of the cool uncle.

was on my bike doing the burnout/ doughnut thing like on mad max, when the tire got traction and the bike took off without me, I'd let go and was standing there watching it with everyone else as it streaked through the parking lot, it traveled bout 100yrds before hitting a curb and flipping, walked over to it amongst the laughter and jeers, stood it up and it started, drove off all embarassed, had to buy a new front wheel and tire, lights to get it back to road worthyness, the cool part of the whole deal was that it didn't hit anyone in the crowded parking lot.

+1

Crew bossed on a 3700 acre wildland fire in steep mountains. I was 19.

Any time pushing in a good hot house fire. I'd do that any day of the week over shooting.

Doing the wild thing about 5,000 feet up in the air above the Cook Inlet rates pretty high on my list. Wouldn't ever do it again though! Patty

I did a two week backpack trip through canyon lands Utah. I did it in the middle of February with no fire and no tent. That was really cool. Kind of tested my survival skills. Saw crazy big Mountain Lions and found some cool artifacts and ruins to boot.

I will post the pictures sometime. I will make a new thread for it since it is interesting enough.

I also went swimming in -1 Celcius water off of the ship in Antarctica. That was refreshing.

I also went skydiving in the middle of the Swiss Alps.

On the same trip I beat the Chief Financial Officer of Arthur Anderson in a game of Monopoly.

Now that's what we are talking about!

"beat the Chief Financial Officer of Arthur Anderson in a game of Monopoly."

It really does float to the top! (Chicago here!)

No really. I did beat the CFO. His name is John D. Lewis and he was originally from South Africa. He had actually never played it before. It was on the return trip from Antarctica and a storm had made it pointless to go on deck. So we rounded up a game of Monopoly.

Got my pilot's license and immediately went on a 1200 mile cross country trip.

Stood at the top of Long's peak at 14,000+ feet in the raging winter wind, naked, hooting and hollering.
