The thing that will kill the conservative movement in America is another GWB, period. The Iraq war and rising gas prices during his watch will change the majority in DC not too mention how the bumbling ex-FEMA director Mike Brown handled things after Katrina. What other ammunition do the liberals need besides those to regain power? Pretty much none. BTW, I voted for religion but I also think the NRA issue is a very close second. We as owners of black rifles need to pick one of the RKBA organizations and stay with it. Whether it's the NRA or GOA or something else, we need to present a united front but unfortunately it'll never happen.

I just got back from a road trip where I never crossed state lines yet was stopped TWICE at ICE checkpoints that were not there 2 years ago. I also saw many more BP agents and brand new BP stations. A few flat bed trailers loaded with brand new BP vehicles. I would say the issue is dying. |
