If he is coming to Camp Navistar which is right on the border, he will have it made. Nice gym,chow hall, and MWR tent. Kinda tight but makes for a short walk to go anywhere. Not really a hot zone here although we have had a few hijackings on the MSR routs, and a few pot shots here and there. Navy guys here right now are doing customs, medic, and other support typ stuff.

Thanks for the info. I'll pass it on to my co-worker. I heard him say yesterday that he was told he will be doing "customs" work on the border. What in the hell is "customs" work? IS that like border watch? |
