Do you think he'd make a good president? I tried reading his book, "Waging Modern War," but it rambled on and was not well done I thought. Definitely not a writer.

Can't say, since I dont know his views on the world. Some at Democraticunderground think he'd be a great candidate, I guess because none of the Democrats now really present anything that's both ideologically satisfying and a viable challenge to Bush. They are hoping Clark could do both. I dont think I'd vote for him. His pre-candicacy website is here http://www.leadershipforamerica.org/

Wesley Clark is a gentleman and served his country for most of his adult life, however you must keep in mind that he was a Clinton appointee. Also, from what I understand his politics lean towards the Democratic side of things. A shame really.

As stated above he and his cronies got their stars under Klintonpieceoffuckingshit (please excuse the terrets) watch. Generals are 100% Political animals.

He claims if he did run he is not sure whether he would run as a Democrat or a Republican. Guy must think he's Ike.

a political weasel who will use his service to this country to score votes and will allow those who would see us disarmed and subjects to use him to gain the office. not all generals are patriots.

And the answer is: What does he think about arms?

last i heard: best in the proper hands (authorities, etc.)and wouldn' take away hunting rights, supports "reasonable gun control". closer we get to an election, if he runs, the NRA will have the rundown on him.

Weiner. I know some folks who served on his staff, and that was the consensus. If you want General w/ brass ones & a brain to match -> Dick Cody.

I wouldn't vote for him.

Definitely not a guy that you would enjoy working for. Arrogant and self important, but then so are most general and flag officers. Definite democrat who leans toward the left. That being said, he played a very poorly dealt hand pretty well during Operation Allied Force in Kosovo. Probably the only guy out there who could have kept NATO in one piece during that goat rope. As a coaliton commander he was pretty good, especially since his U.S. Air Force and Army component commanders tried to stonewall him every step of the way. USAF didn't want to go after mobile fielded Serd military units and the Army wanted no part of the fight at all.

Clark is a Socialist, and a War criminal. No American Patriot should vote for him. OR Colin Powell!!
