You're on your way to work and you need to grab a cup of joe, where do you go ??  What do you get ??

Wait till I'm at work and fire up the Keurig. I really never buy coffee at shops.

I've been going to Dunkin Donuts but it's been tasting like shit lately.  Starbucks doesn't really do it for me either... We need a Tim Hortons

Tag for ideas as well.

If I miss it at home, and the Bunn machine at work is broken, I just hit Starbucks since it's right on the way.  Large coffee with a tsp of sugar for $2 isn't bad, considering gas station joe is roughly the same cost and tastes like a mouthful of campfire ashes.

If they would come out with a Keurig that was capable of producing a man-sized cup of coffee, I would buy one.

(Man sized = 18 ounce travel mug sized).

I have one of those Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee makers.
I usually have it stocked up with either French Roast or Sumatra whole beans.
It launches in the morning and I have fresh brewed coffee when I get up.
But I'm retired, I don't go to work....

Starbucks or Pete's usually.  Simply out of convenience since there's one on every other block.

I use the Keurig at home to fill my to go cup.  I will do Starbucks occasionally, as well as Caribou if I am near one.  We have a couple local coffee houses that do a good brew.  One just opened up,and has an antique Italian roaster they fire up each morning.  Liked everything I have tried from them so far.

Going to Vegas in a week, and will hit the Ily coffee shops up out there.  I love some good, black Ily coffee.

Maxwell House Colombian and it was great out of my 2 Bunns that both sprang leaks after 2 years.  Coffee out of my new Hamilton Beach is not nearly as good.

If I've missed making it at home, Starbucks Pike's.

McDonald's isn't terrible either.

I agree about Dunkin Donuts though. Used to be very good and it's absolute crap now.

My go to mix is a 50% to 50% blend of Folgers Black Silk and Cafe Du Monde Coffee and Chicory when I brew at home.

Whatevers bold at Starbucks when I'm on the road.

I roast my own, that's my "go to" coffee.  The first step in an excellent cup of coffee is the water. If you're not doing that, you're gonna fail.

At home, it's Folgers "Colombian Supreme" or "Black Silk", brewed in a 30 cup perc(makes about a gallon).

At work, or anywhere else for that matter, it's whatever the hell they've got.

It was pretty good at the ones around here until a couple of years ago. Clearly they switched to some kinda sewerage. It's really bad now.

I have my coffee at home before work. 8 O'Clock whole bean, fresh ground, in my french press.

When I indulge it's Ruta Maya medium blend, but that stuff is expensive.

Not in Fort Worth. Blecchh.

7-11 sometimes has really good coffee. It depends on the store. If they take care of it, it's good. If they're lazy, it's terrible.

McDonald's coffee used to be sewer water, though they made it pretty good in the last ten years. I just can't get in the habit of stopping there, due to the lines and the years of burnt asphalt sealer I got from them.

Dunkin Donuts still my fav....still good in these parts.

Keurig at the shop - usually just have that, using Dunkin Donuts coffee in it....

OK Coffee:
McDonalds...in a pinch

Shit coffee:
Sheetz - fuck.  that.  shit.  Absolute worst.  However the Red Alert special order mixed w/ Serious Dark Roast and a shit lode of cream is "tolerable"
Starbucks - horrible
Tim Hortons - nope

I used to work at krispy kreme many years ago in NY. They came out with their own blend  (Bold, Rich & Smooth) around 2000 or 2001

I actually really liked the bold roast. Only the KK out here in Vegas doesn't carry it.

Damn this post..now I want some.

Workdays it's Folgers Colombian.  My time it's fresh ground Colombian Supremo or Breakfast Blend.  Occasionally (even in the land of a coffee shop on every corner) I'll do a latte.

2 parts Island Joe's French Roast one part island. Joe's Shark Bite espresso.  If I run out of that driving around I will use mcDonalds coffee to tide me over unless near a small independent place.
