I like black. I don't like white on anything.

I'm the opposite.  I prefer white.  Black is nice, but imperfections show up to well on black finishes, not to mention goof ups putting swirls in when cleaning.

Champagne is also nice, because it never looks dirty. (unless you park next to another champagne vehicle)

It all depends really... My Explorer is black, my Grand Am is white, my Capri is indigo, and my quad is hunter green, however they all have one thing in common, dirt!

I would have to say white.  However, I don't own a white vehicle now.

I respect your opinion Vinnie, I just think white look really plain on a car.

I like white too, my vehicles just get scratched and dented up way to fast to have a dark color

I love the way black looks. I just hate dealing with it, my last two trucks have been black and I cuss myself out everytime I go to wash and wax them, every little flaw/dimple/scratch stands out like a sore thumb.... but I never learn, I was out looking at black Ford Lightnings a couple weekends ago.

Black looks nice, so long as it's clean.  Unfortunately, that lasts all of about 2 minutes.  Red is beautiful, and the classic sports car color, but has been scientifically proven to appear 5-10MPH faster to the human eye, which is incidently why red cars get more tickets and in turn generally have higher insurance rates.  White is blah, but looks good depening on the car.  Silver hides imperfections/damage well, while champagne never loks dirty unless it's really dirty.

The perfect color on a car for me is Audi's Nogaro Blue Pearl, a.k.a. VW Jazz Blue, or the Blue that Nissan puts on the Skyline R34, which we don't get here.  I'm just a sucker for blue.

Damnit DarkHelmet!!!  I'm trying to get that car out of my head!!  I really want a WRX, but I need a truck first and can't afford both.  I also want to go test drive one, but that might be a bad idea.  Watching WRC the other night didn't help me either.  I wish I could get both...[V]

Edited to add:  I really like silver now.

IIRC white is the #1 most prevelant color for vehicles.I've had at least 25 vechicles in my lifetime.I prefer a color that requires the least maintence/washing.....why waste time.

White doesn't show scratches.  Work trucks are white.
Black shows everything.
Arrest-Me red.  Nuf' said.
Most of our race cars were white top and bottom cause it makes it easy to find the source of leaking fluids.
Ever see a beige car stopped by a cop?
I like yellow cause no cop wants to be seen standing next to a yellow car.

That's what accesories are for[:D]

Honestly my first car was black.  I was 17, had no clues as to what I was doing so after the first wash and wax, I noticed the swirls I put into the finish.

My second car was an old Camaro Z28.  I was a nice red, which of course got me pulled over at every oportunity that they saw fit to pull me over.

Finally, My Jeep Wrangler.  I got her in white back in 92 because not many people had white.  It looked great with the black top and mag wheels. The only time she looked dirty was parked next to another white car.

And I agree with about plain, but after so many years and BS tickets from my Z, I wanted plain.
