Simple question. Poll to come. I'll try my best to name as many as possible, from memory.

For purposes of this poll, a less than strict definition of "donut" will be used.

No ibtp allowed, cause it'll take me a minute.

Sour cream old fashioned, or a Persian.

Anything round lol.

Well, I guess 10 options aren't nearly enough.

And I forgot to leave a place for "other".

This may have been an illconceived scientific study. I should seek a government grant.

I don't think people know what they are anymore. Last time I ordered one at Tim's, the doofus behind the counter handed me a glazed doughnut.

ETA: What the hell is a bismark?

I love custard. And the real custard filled bismarks, I enjoy. Most of them are filled with pudding and nothing pisses me off more than grabbing what I think is a proper bismark only to bite into that slimy crap.

I've learned to heft them in my paw before selecting a bismark.

One I was hooked on for a while was a plain glazed, nuked for about 20 seconds. Have to eat it with a fork but damn that's some tasty treats right there.

Apple fritters (made properly with actual apples in them) are probably my favorite, though. Not technically a donut, though.

I really like Krispy Kreme blueberry donuts.

Does that kick me off the Board of Donut Surveys?

Bismark= round, chocolate iced donut with the sweet, white, whipped icing in the middle. It's not technically whipped cream. Same as what's in a cream horn which, if you've never had a cream horn you've truly missed out on a culinary experience.

I don't eat them much but I get a craving every once in a while....

I like

1. Cinnamon Cake (don't see em often anymore)
2. Chocolate Glazed
3. Apple Jelly
4. Blueberry

My local Krogers has been setting out great apple crumb donuts lately. Chocolate turtle ones, too. Both are great. Gotta love a Boston Kreme, though, and custard, not whipped cream.

On the rare occasion that I do stop at the doughnut shop on the way to work, I get an eclair, not an actual doughnut. Mmmmmm, eclairs...

Depends. Usually plain/old fashioned/cake but from Krispy Kreme there's nothing better than a hot glazed donut.

Old fashioned pumpkin spice.
