I just watched The Car, a classic from the 70's. It ranks right up there with Gargoyles, Prophecy and Pirahna in the cheese department but I love it.

Theater of Blood  Edward Lionheart (Vincent Price) stars as an actor overlooked for a critics' acting award, despite producing a season of Shakespeare plays. After confronting the Critics' Circle, an attempted suicidal dive into the Thames results in Lionheart being rescued by your typical paraffin/meths/turps swigging tramps. Lionheart then (presumed dead) exacts his grizzly, and quite amusing revenge on the critics who denied him his finest hour.

Have it on DVD.  Had to get it, I remeber seeing it at the drive-in with my parents back in the day.  IIRC there was a package deal where you could buy The Car along with Christine.
Prophecy isn't bad either, in it's own cheesy way.

MST3K is ok but was more scifi, the proper venue for bad horror movies was Movie Macabre.  Joel, Crow & Tom Servo were OK but they're not Elvira ...no pic to be posted as all will violate the BOTD rule.

Here's a few to pick from.

Plan 9 from Outer Space
The Killer Shrews
The Giant Claw
The Brain That Wouldn't Die.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

These were picked for their intense "cheesiness" so don't be expecting any Academy Awards with them. They are truly horrible movies that are funny because they are so bad.

Sounds like the 50 horror(ible) classics

So many cheesy ines that are cult classics now:

The Living Dead Series (The ones by Romero, not the "Return" series)
Killer Klowns
Killer TOmatoes

Bad Taste.  It's a must see, the highlight being one dude pulling off the head and spinal column of another and punting it.  The box cover is an alien giving the finger.

Urban Legend.

First two Halloween movies.  Bad acting + random sex scenes = great recipe for an awesomely bad horror movie.

Freddy vs. Jason had me in hysterics.

Saw Final Destination 3 the other day.  God, talk about MST3Kworthyness.

night of the demon!!!!

i discovered that movie on accident. i had a movie store that was independantly owned by the pakestani deli owners across the street from my house. they had a orange sign that said "DVDs 5$ tapes 2$ store closing" so we went to look around while it was still open to check it out and the next day we wanted to go in again but it was closed. so we went to the deli and asked when it would be open again and the guy gave us a flashlight and the keys and said wtvr you find just bring it here and we'll give it to you.

needless to say we ransacked the porn in the back of the store, took all their oldskool videogames and traded them in to funcoland (along with other random DVDs for a cash profit $72 later hehe) and walked out actually paying for only 3 tapes.......guilty feeling lmao

The Tingler

Campy old B&W Vincent Price horror flick, infamous for the practice (during its original theatrical release) of wiring a few seats in the theater to deliver a mild shock to a few audience members during the scenes where the Tingler is supposedly loose in the theater.

Right up there with it IMHO are The Blob and House of Wax (the originals, of course).

Night of the Demons with Linnea Quigley.

Bad special effects, lots of pointless nudity, bad acting

Absolutely my favorite horror movie of all time.
finally found it on DVD by Anchor Bay Entertainment.
