In honor of AILapua...

If we're talking just the gun, it would be my Armalite AR10A4 at $1400 (approximately).  If we include all accessories purchased, it would be my Rem Sendero SF .338 Ultra Mag:
Gun $800
Leupold Scope $700
Hard Case $250
Harris Bipod $100
For a bargain price of $1850 plus tax and the good old $15 NICS check (NJ, version that is [-!-]).

Well, I guess that's about the saddest thing I've heard all night.  My son will be 6 months old next week.  I wish I could say I understand how you feel but, I know I can't.  I'm sorry.  Its pitifully inadequate but, from one daddy to another, I am.

I assume we're talking guns here, I've got an AR-15 Gov't Model in Z-coat finish that I paid way too much for, but it's the only one I've ever seen, so I had to have it!

Okay...I know you meant guns so I'll post my top two here.

1.  Unpapered M-1D Garand.  I figure it is at least worth $1200 without papers.

2.  Remington 700 BDL Heavy barrel Varmit in .308 with a Leupold 6.5 X 20 Vari-X III scope on it.  A real tack driver.  Figure it is worth at least $800.

Ok. I won't say the mortgage on the house I don't live in that I pay FOR my EX wife...oops.
Single rifle with no trimmings...$1900.00 HK93

Trimmings...about another $400-500 not counting the ammo.

Now I'm jealous of FMJunkie and want an AR10. Anyone want to trade one for an HK93 with light bipod, standard and retractable stock, and some 40rnd mags? [:d]
C6

P.S. The kids are NOT the most expensive, but they are priceless. I would give up any of my hobbies for them.
