Uncrustables! (Frozen PB&J sandwiches without any bread crust.)

...and I was just at a food service show this past Wednesday. I should've known this question would come up. I should have paid closer attention.

Since sliced bread? Hmm...

Pre cooked bacon, probably. Spray cheese, quite possibly.

Bacon, precooked, that sits in the freezer. 30 seconds in the microwave and you have hot BACON

Spray cheese, agreed. Sometimes you just don't have time for crackers and knives.

What did they say about new inventions before sliced bread?
Link Posted: 9/18/2009 7:17:54 AM EST
Fresh broccoli......Nothing else comes close; except, maybe, cauliflower.

Cruciform vegetables are the best. Better than sliced bread.

Pre-cooked bacon that doesn't require refrigeration is the apex of culinary invention. In 20 years we'll be saying "the greatest thing since pre-cooked bacon".

I don't consider either of these products "good" but sure do make things easier when in a hurry:

What are you some kind of hippy, vegetarian tree hugger?

Everyone knows the best thing is spam in the foil pouches.

Get with the program.

A couple of things:

First off, you need to carry your ass up to KC area and experience the best BBQ/ribs you have ever tasted. I started somewhat of a shitstorm when I voiced my opinion on GD a few weeks back. Sorry, KC wins. /debate

Secondly, find a Carino's Italian restaurant and get their house salad with their house dressing. My lips have NEVER, and let me be clear like Barack Obama would be, my lips have NEVER tasted a salad dressing so delicious in all my years on this planet.

I still won't buy Heinz ketchup because of John Kerry and his rich witch bitch. No, I'm not letting that go. Plenty of other choices.

You know, I actually don't like these, mainly because of the no-mess squirter thing. If you just want to squirt a pike of ketchup on your plate, it's great. But putting it on something like a hotdog is a huge mess. You can't control it like you could the old squeeze bottles.

(Yeah, yeah, I know, ketchup on a hotdog is evil, blah, blah, blah.)
