Carl the Wonderdog:

decided that dad's Maxpedition Urban Wallet looked delicious and made a snack of it.

It was a touch too big for my taste anyway, and Maxped's micro is a bit too small.  Is there anything else out there I'm missing?

Skinny-jean hipster douche wallets need not apply... no carbon fiber, no duct tape.

Saddleback medium bifold, great quality, awesome wallet but bought before the HUGE price increase.
IMO, not worth the price now.

Wallet never goes in the back pocket... the back pocket is for the little flashlight and for tossing keys/phone/etc, in for a few minutes at a time while I'm in a store or some such.

Cargo pockets are for the cargo.

I carry a Magpul DAKA Essential Wallet after years of carrying a Saddleback Leather ID wallet.

No complaints for either.

I have a Blue Force Gear wallet waiting for me when I finally get home from this never ending Mexico trip. It is supposed to be super thin. Does that make me a hipster dufus?

Wow when did those prices happen?  I bought my bifold from them not too long ago for like 30% less than that.

I really like my big skinny walle I have the one with 4 card slots that hold the cards parallel to the bi fold. It's super thin

I think it was less than $30

ETA:

Best wallet I've ever had its thinner full than my last one was empty

I agree, that would be my one change to it. As it is, it forces me to make decisions on what is actually vital to carry all the time, is affordable, light, and thin.

Recycled Firefighter has some great wallets made from recycled fire house and turnout materials, the SO got me The Rookie for Christmas and I love it.  For its size, it holds everything I need on a daily basis.

Mines a fairly normal bifold with 8 card slots and two sections for cash. Had it made for me out of an 11 foot alligator I killed when I lived down in Florida. It's getting pretty beat up after 6 years so I'm probably going to have another made soon. Lots of hide left over from that beast.

Perfect wallet for my use.

0.6 ounces, carries everything I need and damn near indestructable.

3 rubber bands.  They keep the small number of cards I carry together, I can sammich a $20 bill in between them and it stays put, and the rubber makes it all stay put in my pocket.

1 is none, 2 is the minimum, the 3rd is just so when one does break...I still have 2 to get me home.  They generally last a month or so, then I get new ones.

I do not have a pic but the DAKA Everyday wallet is in the catalog and should be released in a couple of months.

The everyday wallet is slightly larger than the essential wallet with a matt clear window on the ID side along with a center cash pocket.

I love my Maxpedition Micro. It has the clear ID window on one side and a cash pocket on the outside. I have a bunch of credit cards and ID's etc. in mine, even a metal card that has areas for screwdrivers or measuring. Hate those big thick wallets.
