If you want a bargan, get a FAL kit.

But the best postban .308 SLR's are the AR-10 and SR-25. They are however hard to get mags for without spending $$$

I'd probably have to say an FAL too.

Having said that, I don't own one, I just the M1A too much. Which, I thought was worth the money, but mags are pricey!!

Probably the best for the money would be the DSA STG58 kit gun.
The AR10s are damned nice guns too, though.

Either a CETME or FAL.

For price, CETME but make sure you get a SW receiver.

For parts and accessories, go for FAL.
