Well, it's an aquired taste. I cannot eat them as I somehow developed an allergy to oysters, clams, scallops(real ones), mussles. But shrimp, crabs and the rest I can eat.. Go figure.
Back on topic now. Hit them with some Tabasco and wash down with cold beer.. Damned good IMO |

On oysters rather than what JCKnife changed the question to: From their appearance, I would say mildewy semen. I've never hazarded a taste of either oysters or what they resemble.

don't worry. Put it on a saltine, and add horseradish, coctail sauce and/or hotsauce. That should alleviate some of the snot-like texture and taste.
