I was looking for something in 64mb with DDR ram.

Prefer Geforce 3, or maybe a fast Geforce 2.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Want to pay around 100 dollars. What brand should I get?

I got a 1.8Ghz AMD Athalon XP Motherboard with 512mb DDR. Want a good vid card to acompany it.

I think Radeon's new chips look good for the money. Their 8500 and 7500....
I am looking into building a new computer and they just look pretty good to me.

Personally I have a GF2 64mb. It kicks ass. So I would imagine that the GF3 or 4 would be that much better.

Don't waste your money on a GF2; they are long in the tooth.  Go with a GF3 Ti 200.  They can be safely overclocked to GF3 500 levels (most of them) and are still some of the fastest cards out there.  Also, the ATI Radeon 8500s are coming down in price quickly and they are comparable performers.  You should be able to pick up the GF3 200 for around $125 bucks.  The few extra dollars will be well spent.

I still have a nVidia TNT2 M64 AGP with 32 megs of RAM in my computer. Paid 40 bucks for it and it lets the 17 inch monitor run at 800*600 at 100Mhz. The newest game I tried on this machine was Return to Castle Wolfenstein and it ran just fine. No problems with Photoshop 6 or AutoCad 2002 either.
