Actually it's not the same one as on the AC556 but it can be modified to work on an AC556. Post a for sale add on Subguns.com on the under $500 board and it should sell pretty quickly for up to $250 get more greedy than that and you will have to wait for a special sucker.

What's the difference between the ACC556 and a reg mini? Mine sure looks like it. Mine has the wooden stock and pistol grip too.

The newer ACs have a slightly longer receiver.
If we're talking older guns, then the receiver could take that selective fire trigger group. You can't install it on a regular Mini-14. |

ACC556 has full auto capabilities. Receiver is longer and some internal parts are different (trigger, trigger housing, secondary sear)
I have an old Choate folder on mine. I like it better than the factory folder. |
