What you pay for a preban Colt M4 with collapseable stock, bayo lug, flash hider, that said ar15 on the side, and showed very little to no wear.  Just curious.

The same as a post-ban. It's not worth any more now.

I would pay less than a new no ban with the same features.  It's new.  Collectors may differ.

you'd be AMAZED at how many dumbasses will STILL pay big $ for a 'preban'.

People never fail to amaze me.

At least 1500-1600 for it and don't take a penny less!

Colt will never make an AR15 again!

They may make Sporters, Match Target or one with WMD on the side but I don't think they will ever make another AR15 branded one.

Depends if the gun will be made again or not. And if the import ban has made it rare.

PRE-BAN - Used, 10+ years old.

LEO-Marked - Used, 1-10 years old.

NIB - New In Box, as in made just this year. This is what I will wait for.

I dought we'll ever see any that have AR15 stamped on it.

Hmmm. I'll take a quality "pre-ban" Colt over a new brand X any day of the week.

I haven't witnessed Colt M4 uppers nosediving in prices either.

The new LE Colt guns on the EE are in the 1K+ range. Price accordingly for a used rifle in a free state.

$500-600 for a nice used all-Colt M4gery, DREAM ON! Maybe in a distress sale....

The reason I ask is I bought one this afternoon for $700.  I thought it was a reasonable price (which is why I bought it), but just checking in here to see what you guys thought.

There's no such thing as a 'pre-ban' anymore.

I'll pay $400 for a stripped SP1 lower with no sear block and the correct take-down pin hole sizes.

Why does a sear block matter?

Unless your putting an auto sear in it shouldn't matter.

Sig 550? Hk91? and so on?
Edit. Okay logic hit me. That was a dif ban lmao.
Still like the orig ar-15 etc will not be made. So its higher of course since in reality it still is pre-ban.

Big +1.  It's just another used AR15.  No more then $700 if it is in REAL good condition.

Sure. Tell that to the folks in NY, Kali, and a couple others. And more to join the rank, I have no doubt, if gun grabbers have their way.

Depending on what came with it. Colt M4? Or M4rgery?

If it was a true Colt M4 and not a knock-off, I would spend (AT MOST) $750 for it. No more.
