I would choose a Wilson over a Spfld. I have an FFL and I can tell you that "customer service" has a real twisted, weird meaning in the gun world. I'm serious. It seems everyone who is serious about guns is an asshole. This ends up being reflected in the manner customers are dealt with. You won't get warm milk and a tummy rub from any of them. I am constantly amazed when a guy wants a particular firearm and contacts me to obtain it. I call distributor #1 and am told, "nope!" I ask when are they expected? "No idea." Big sigh from him. "Are they on order from XYZ company?" "Have been since last November, but they only make them once a year." "Okay, thanks." Same thing from two more distributors. I call my customer and tell him the news. He cannot believe he can get a hot meal in 30 seconds, but can't get his new toy in two days. Now I get another (pissy this time) exchange over when I can get his gun, even though I just explained there is no way of knowing when it will be available. Firearms are the weirdest commodity in the market. [BD]
Edit: Before anyone (especially Adtecharms) thinks I'm calling them/him an "asshole", I'm not. That was a sweeping generalization and not aimed at anyone here. [:D]
